Brookfield's Europe Removals
Unusual Removals
...some unusual moves by Brookfield's
First. How to move a granary...
We were contacted by a customer who had a strange request. He had a 150-year old granary blocking his view. It had a preservation on it so it could not be knocked down. The council had no objection to it being moved. So he rang us. We had to move it 125 feet. It was not an easy job as it was so old and brittle. A lot of thought and a good plan resulted in a successful job. Not a tile was lost. A bee hive inside the granary survived intact as well.
Moving plants over a wall...
A recent job was to move 22 pot plants from London but over a 17 foot wall as they were now too big to go through the house:
...and nurseries to SkyeOur move to Skye of a commercial nursery involved moving numerous plants, conifers and trees up to 3 metres high. Some other difficult moves...In the past we have moved a piano specially made for the Great Exhibition at the Crystal Palace. ...sympathetic movers...The grand piano was one of only two surviving from the Great Exhibition in the Crystal Palace and we moved it for a client along with a selection of Edwardian antiques and valuable household goods. Get in touch with us to discuss your removals whether they be garden removals or however unusual or difficult.
